Sarah McDougal

RDN, CDN

Sarah McDougal is a Registered Dietitian specializing in eating disorders and chronic disease management. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics and completed her dietetic internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Sarah works with patients to create balanced, enjoyable and sustainable patterns of eating that support health and well-being. Fad diets don’t work, but nutrition still matters! Sarah’s approach is to help patients cultivate nutritionally sound mindsets and behaviors that don’t involve tracking, worrying or overthinking. Ultimately, she helps her patients ditch the diet mentality and discover the ease, enjoyment and benefits that come from eating in a more attuned and intuitive way.

Prior to joining NutriGreene, Sarah worked in corporate wellness. She now balances her role at NutriGreene with teaching nutrition courses to dietetic students at the University of New Haven. Outside of work, Sarah loves spending time with her three children, cooking, baking pies, and enjoying the outdoors for some fresh air and exercise!
